How much experience does Dr Paul Shih have?

Paul Shih is a doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and joined the TLC Acupuncture Brisbane team in 2023, after working for 5 years in another practice.  He has obtained a bachelor of health science in Acupuncture at the Endeavour College of Natural Health,  as well as a diploma of Remedial massage, and is a registered practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Over the years, Dr Shih has advanced his skillset by completing many courses in the areas of musculoskeletal conditions, pain management and a variety of massage styles (Shiatsu, Tui na & Remedial massage). 

Areas of Special interest

Paul like all our practitioners can treat a wide range of symptoms, however, due to working along side many physiotherapists, his advanced training lies in the field of pain management, this includes: musculoskeletal tension release, joint stiffness and  sports injuries.   He also enjoys helping patients overcome stress and anxiety.

Why is Paul an acupuncturist?

Paul with his strong background in remedial massage has always had an interest in natural health and pain relief.  Acupuncture appealed to him due to its hands-on approach, holistic nature and ability to treat a wide range of complaints.

Paul is Available in our Brisbane City practice on:

• Monday             9:00am – 6:00pm
• Wednesday      9:00am – 6:00pm
