How much experience does Shannon Smith have?

Dr Shannon Smith is a doctor of traditional Chinese medicine joining TLC Acupuncture in 2025.   Shannon holds a Bachelor of Health Science in Chinese medicine at RMIT University, Melbourne and is an AHPRA registered practitioner for both Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese herbal medicine.

Shannon did her interneship in China working in the departments of gynecology, dermatology and internal medicine.  This is where her pasion for women’s health and fertility treatments began.

Areas of special interest

Dr Shannon Smith like all our practitioners can treat a wide range of symptoms, however she has a special interest and passion for treating skin condition, as well women’s health and fertility treatments.  Shannon can work on natural fertility as well as supporting modern fertility treatments such as IVF and IUI procedures.

Shannon is also trained in cosmetic acupuncture and Chinese herbal Medicine taylor making the formulations to fit each patients needs.

• Tuesday     7am – 2pm
• Thursday   8am – 1:30pm
